how to train for a 10k and half marathon

This year I’m focusing on mostly 10k with 4 half marathons spread throughout the year. Last year my first full year of running events was all about making it round, working out my pace and getting to know routes and myself. With the basics done, I’m going to focus on increasing my overall speed throughout 10k distance and half marathon.

Over this year so far, I’ve increased my weekly km’s I’m on an average of 60k’s a week now which is way more than last year. I also have training days rotating in the week Speed, hills, track, H.I.T, So I’ll keep going at that for now as I’m seeing an improvement with my endurance and speed getting slowly better. Any tips on long-term improved would be handy or let me know your training must do’s.
